It presents the principles, the methods applied and selected field experiences in applications of PRA. The book, is at best, an intermediate product of experiments in learning from the vil lagers and, at worst, a study in participation much of whose results are not in the nature of a 'blueprint' for replication and many of whose limits are unknown as yet.
