Like the previous edition, the book has been organised into five parts. Part One discusses the theoretical monetary issues. Part Two analyses the development and importance of commercial and central banks. Part Three studies the issues relating to foreign exchange. Part Four has been devoted to the discussion of international liquidity, and international financial institutions. Part Five describes the nature and importance of international trade, different theories of international trade, terms of free trade and protection. The book is primarily meant for the undergraduate students of Indian universities and for the various competitive examinations.
