By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: New Delhi; Indian Social Institute; 1986Description: 17 pSubject(s): DDC classification:
  • 340.11 ROB
Summary: Struggle for Justice is a series of reports by social activists regarding the experience they have gained in the process of struggling with the exploited masses to get their legal rights. Many activists today feel development of communities calls for people's struggle. Only such a process would bring about socio-economic and political justice and promote equality and liberty which are guaranteed to them by the Indian Constitution. In organising struggle, the poor often need support from outside from social activists, journalists, lawyers, judges and other public spirited persons and organisations. The reports highlight the various roles of these agents and the impact of the struggle on the members of the community.
