Plants of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary, western Himalaya a field guide

The book is first of its kind and would be a unique endeavor; as such no other book is available presently covering the kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, which harbours a diverse array of flora and fauna typical of western Himalaya. Owing to a wide altitudinal range of about 1100 to 7068 m asl, varied topography and bio-edaphic conditions, one finds a large number of vegetation types, rich array of mammals, butterflies, birds and reptiles. The book not only covers in details 575 plant species with photographs for easy identification with key character, but also gives a complete overview of the area of the kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, including its Biodiversity, local people knowledge, general vegetation types, history, and management.
