The Constitution (62nd Amendment) Bill under which reservation of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes has been extended for another 10 years i.e. upto January 25, 2000. It also contains list of important cases deci ded by the various High Courts and Supreme Court of India concerning reservations of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes in the matter of appointment, admission in Educa tional Institutions and under Representation of the People Act.
