What is the relevance of the heritage of political theory for modern political science? The contributors to this volume-speakers at the main Plenary Session at the 1966 American Political Science Association convention-illustrate how modern behavioral political research has shed light on some of the great questions which political theorists have posed over the centuries. Their addresses will be of interest to both undergraduate and graduate students in any course in which there is a systematic effort to compare classical and modern political science.
