Formerly, a Professor of Economics at the IBS National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie and an alumna of the London School of Economics and Political Science, her major areas of current Research include participatory and sustainable developmental practices, design and methodologies, PRA micro planning, participatory monitoring and impact assessment, Gender issues and livelihoods sustainability.
