Such bodies have been established in order to bring in the nethods and practices of prvate enterprises into the state business and Industrial activities
An incresing use of the device of the autonomous instiution shows faith in its inherent virtues. But no where in the world have autonomous been able to secure the freedom, necesary for their success. A few eneterprises here and tehre have shown results based on dynamism at the top or because of certain propitious combination of circumstances or sheer luck, but it has been localised or short lived. .
