The framework is then used as a basis for assessing the effects of in vestment allowances, initial allowances, investment reserve schemes, monetary policy, and special tax measures relating to industrial research and the development of extractive industries. Several chapters use empirical evidence derived from de tailed case studies and an extensive mail and inter view survey of decision-making in large Canadian corporations.
