  • 1403911037
Subject(s): DDC classification:
  • 330.122 CHA
Summary: In this book we have not only analyzed the basic impediment in India’s march to glory but have also made an attempt to identify budgetary resources to end the poverty of the masses. The second aspect that needs mention is our attempt to show how the inequality among sections of population can be removed within a reasonable time frame. Lastly, we have shown what needs to be done to catch up with the developed world by the year 2025. The title of the book, The Great Indian Dream, has been coined by Arindam. He has spoken on this topic from various platforms. This book is therefore the realization of his ‘dream’. However, I have played a role in shaping the contours of this dream, to transform it into a ‘vision’ by presenting ideas of various ‘alternatives’. My name appears as an author along with him. Nevertheless, this is his book.
