Summary: This book represents an endeavour to bring together a wide spectrum of writers to deal with a broad range of contemporary issues of space law and policy. The contributors include Lawyers, scientists, technical experts and students of space law and policy, some very eminent and some not so well-known. While the majority of them is drawn from India, there are a few eminent persons drawn from outside India. The objective of the project has been to facilitate a symposium of ideas not only between lawyers and scientists, but also between writers of the Third World and those of the First World. Additionally, the project aims to produce an Indian-made source-material for teaching and research in aerospace law, largely with an orientation to the requirements of the academic institutions of the Third World.
