There has been publication of several digests of Supreme Court decisions on almost all Acts & Rules published in different Law Journals in India but a Referencer book of the present one has rarely been published on single subject. With this object, it has been felt necessary to choose one specific Impugned subject and compile Reference book of Supreme Court decisions in order that the members of Bench and the Bar may have easy access on the subject. Since the Supreme Court decisions are binding on the different High Courts, our learned brothers are supposed to know about them.
The need for bringing up this Referencer book of Supreme Court, containing decisions of Hindu Code which include subject elicited in the table of contents annexed hereto reported in All India and States Journals, is to avoid lawyer's time to go through lengthy placitums already digested and to have easy approach to the desired subject itself and as such this Referencer book has been compiled with short illustrations.
Some of the distinguishing features of the book may be stated. Table of Contents are self-explanatory of the subject. The concise illustrations with law points involved and decided have been given to avoid long notes and thus to save valuable time of the Bench and the Bar. Cross-references of practically all Journals have also been given. All salient points from judgments have been given and each and every words of reference are self-explanatory conveying the subject matter of the decision.
The author is indebted to M/s. International Law Agency, Allahabad to publish the book in a very short span of time. There might have been some errors or omission for which the author would be highly obliged if pointed out so as to complete the book in all respects in its subsequent edition.
