[3:21 pm, 30/03/2022] Govind Sahu: MAMATA BANERJEE needs no intro duction in Indian politics. She has been at the forefront of the Congress struggle against the Left Front Government for the last 20 years.'Struggle for Exist ence' is her first attempt in English to reach out to a wider audience at the National level. This book, written true to her style, is a chronicle of her strug gles for the last 27 years that she has been in Politics: her pain, her success and the various hurdles that she has crossed to eliminate the pitfalls that have come her way.
[3:24 pm, 30/03/2022] Govind Sahu: The shadow of the gallows fell on C. A. Balar one cold September night in 1950. He was hunted down and arrested on the charge of J political murder and convicted. This book is a compelling account of the eleven years he spent in jail waiting to be hanged.
A jail diary in retrospect, Balan's story is also a comment on justice, on prisons as he knew them and the dark humanity on both sides of the bars.
