Summary: The present book "Human Values : Principles and Practices" has been divided into ten chapters. Chapter 1 deals with meaning, significations and scope of value education. Chapter 2. suggests the role of family in injecting value among the members of the family. Chapter 3. deals with the methods , procedures and role of society in molding the individual imbued with the value system. Chapter 4. deal with the role of education from primary school to higher education level in making students learn good value and practice them. Chapter 5. examines the role of yoga in promoting a value system which is perfect and can make society worth living. Chapter 6. suggest the role of religious scriptures in encouraging their followers to practice values. Chapter 7 , 8, 9 examine the role of legislature, executive and judiciary in promoting good values through practice in these forums by their members. Chapter 10. deal with the stress management and values.
