"Bail' means the security taken from a person to appear on a fixed date before a Court. The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines 'Bail' as security for the appearance of prisoner on giving which the accused is released pending trial. A reference may also be made to Corpus Juris (Vol. VI, Chapter on Bail, p. 891), that "As a noun it may be defined as the persons who engage as sureties, and into whose custody the arrested person is delivered and who are considered as having control of his person".
Sound and accurate knowledge of Law of Criminal Procedure makes a Lawyer or Judge in his profession avocation in order to win the case it is necessary for lawyer to place his case delingently before the Court alongwith proper presentation of Criminal Procedure because improper presentation of Criminal Law not only causes confusion and delay but after defeats justice.
