Summary: Law and its concepts - Law is a set of rules recognisation and enforced by State regulating human behaviour. Man is a social being governed by laws of nature and morality. Already existing rules of conduct within the community has been recognised and legalised by state and thereby the concepts of social justice and social welfare has been developed. State not satisfied with maintenance of law and order alone started interfering with individual contractual obligations between individuals to protect economically backward and exploited groups in the society. Similarly socially exploited groups through untouchability and bonded labour has also to be protected through beneficial legislation thereby assuring social justice to its citizens.
