Summary: This book is an advanced study in transactional analysis. It is useful for counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, teachers, nurses, those in charge of spiritual formation, TA practitioners, those preparing for Clinical Membership and Clinical Teaching Membership in the Transactional Analysis Society of India and for all those in Asia who have said to me, "What's in TA ? Just I'm OK, You're OK !" While people show much interest in India in the use of transactional analysis, many doubts are expressed about the theoretical base of Berne's system. Therefore a study of his theory of personality, i.e. the theory of ego states and their models in contemporary use, soon dissolves the impression that TA is a bundle of foreign gimmicks.
