Summary: In this book, original shlokas have not been quoted, but only their meanings have been given in plain language. Besides the consequences of actions, principal features of the Law of Actions have been put forth to guide Actions in present day life. Various scriptures contain vivid description of hells to which the soul of a vicious human being is consigned. The above mentioned chapter of the Mahabharata also contains that description and the same has been incorporated in this presentation too. It is hoped that many questions arising about actions and their consequences would find their satisfactory answers from a reading of this small booklet.
