The idea of choosing "Social Development" theme round which arrange lectures occurred me while was reading Gunnar Myrdal's Challenge World Poverty-a from which have drawn great deal, my first paper. In writing subsequent papers found useful the various publications issued by the United Nations the ECAFE the general social development. Additionally. have referred some of the papers appeared to time the International Work and in the book India's Urban Future. these publications fully listed in the bibliography at the end.
