Environmental dimensions of rural settelments in hill areas

This volume analyse the static and dynamic inter-relationships of physical environmental-ecological factors on the one hand and human-social-cultural-economic behavioural adjustments to them on the other. This study provides information about the various aspects of human settlements with original judgement which forms a new litera ture on the subject on the Himalayan region and hill areas.
