This book is a signal study of the contribution of Justice K. Subbarao to the Constitutional Development in India. It is a comprehensive thoroughly indepth study with a very useful biographical note. The judgments of Justice Subbarao are presented without losing their essence, firstly, without any colouring of comments and later separately subjected to a balanced critical examination. The writings and public speeches of Justice Subbarao with regard to Constitution of India, have been critically analysed.
A critical assessment has been made by the author of the Constitutional Philosophy of Justice Subbarao. A comparative study has also been made of the Constitutional Philosophy of Justice Subba Rao with the Constitutional Philosophy of some leading Judges of the Supreme Court of United States and their influence on him.
The author has made sound conclusions doing justice to the subject by projecting Justice K. Subbarao's contribution and at the same time without hesitation exposing the weaknesses in his lack of appreciations of constitutional visions in certain areas.
This book is a historical analytical and behavioural constitutional study in the light of the individual contribution made by a single, sturdy, dedicated, bold judge who never minced words nor hid his ideas under ambiguous language and devoted to the cause of individual liberty by judicial salvage of fundamental rights.
