Summary: The SCOPE Secretariat has undertaken the compilation and publication of some of the milestone reports prepared over the past few years on public enterprises by eminent personalities such as later Shri. L.K. Jham Shri Mohd. Fazal and Shri Arjun Sengupta. These committees comprised of professionals in various fields such as economists , public sector managers and Government officials. This clearly showed that the Government had identified public sector as one of the important instruments for its economic programme.
