Yuri Popov concentrates on an analysis of the newly free countries' socio-economic prob lems and the influence exerted on their de velopment by the policy of imperialism. Written in a popular style, the book is intended for a broad readership in the develop ing countries, primarily students and progres sive intellectuals.
