Several of their Chapters were published earlier in separate brochures, in Hindi and other local languages circulated mostly among the growing ranks of Kisan workers among Congress and other social ists. This edition is especially offered for the scholars, researchers and votaries of the Kisan Mazdoor Praja Raj Ideal. Most of the developments demanded, and reforms pleaded and suggestions offered in the interests of Kisans, Khet Mazdoors and rural people in this and other books have come to be appreciated or accepted, in principle, by the leaders of the Swaraj Government and their planners during the past 40 years of National Freedom. This volume is preceded by two volumes on village economics 1926 and 1928 followed by 1) Kisan speaks 1936 2) Revolutionary Peasant 1942, 3) Credo of World Peasantry 1946, 4) History of Peasant Movement, 5) Colonial and Coloured Peoples etc. This is the first Parliamentary-wise economic exposition of Peasants' demands for parity with industrial, com mercial and urban sectors. It enunciates the basic principles behind the charter of peasants' demands as opposed to communist and capitalist economic ap proaches. It provides the rationale for the elimination of all intermediaries and profiteers.
