The Left-Wing Extremists utilize the working class/tribals for their victory in elections. Maoists have become terrorists and have been confronting the police and target the state in their armed actions in an organised manner, violating all legal provisions. It is a fact that the police in various states, are trying their best to tackle Naxalite violence. Para-military forces have been deputed in large numbers by the Central Government in the affected states to prevent violence by the Naxalites. There is some success here and there and violence has come down. The Central Government has adopted an integral four-point approach to tackle the problem in the areas of security, development, enforcing rights and entitlement of local communities, public perception management and good governance.
