Summary: This book is an attempt at port- raying the glorious role of the great community of Indian Muslims who fought incessantly shoulder to shoulder with their fellow Congressmen belonging to other communities against imperialism. Inspite of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's clear advice to the contrary, the Muslims of India wholeheartedly gathered around the Congress and provided invaluable support to the independence movement.
