The Inaugural Tribhuban Lectures delivered during the Convocation Week of Tribhuban University in 1969, are on two subjects, namely Human Rights and International Organisations. The Tribhuban Professor has examined the "all-important en forceability problem of Human Rights sincé a legal right must be backed by an appropriate remedy and Human Rights would have no meaning if they were not enforce able. The laws of Nepal have also been examined to indicate the healthy practice of enforcing international conventions by their incorporation in municipal law. There is a useful appendix which reproduces the texts of all inter national conventions, resolutions, recommendations and declarations on Human Rights ever since the beginning of the current century. It is hoped that this documenta tion will be of help to the student of Human Rights.
