Summary: This is the first volume of Mrs. Klein's work to be sponsored by The Melanie Klein Trust acting as her Literary Executors. Among the present collection are two papers which have not previously been published, "On the sense of Loneliness' and "Some Reflections on "The Oresteia' by Aeschylus." These two papers combined with "Our Adult World and Its Roots in Infancy" and "On Identification" bring together Mrs. Klein's more recent writings on Subjects other than strictly clinical work. She had been devoting more of her attention in her later years to these wider ranging applications of her psycho-analytic knowledge..
