This book Ten Years of Upheaval by young journalist Dipak Sapkota chronologically presents the development and analysis of multiple dimensions of the People's War of Nepal in a vivid and bold manner.
Going through the book, I felt it is the work not only to be studied by all of us but also to be treasured in our collection. It portrays a truthful and vibrant exposition of the events of the glorious People's War fought by the Nepali people under the leadership of our Party.
Sapkota, who was acquainted to ups and downs of the People's War, has tried his best to provide first-hand accounts of the People's War in a lively manner. He has analysed the War closely and objectively in an informed and sequential way, which will be very helpful also to the people outside Nepal to understand the real state of affairs behind it, its development process and achievements it brought about in Nepal.
