Since the 10th Edition of the book gone out of print there was a great demand of the 11th Edition.

author thank his noble readers for the warm reception which was accorded by them to the 10th edition. To meet the heavy pending demands. It was proposed to have it reprinted but, in view. however, of certain changes taken place, it was considered that opportunity should be taken to bring out a revised edition by incorporating all the latest amendments.

The All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958 have been amended in 2005. The Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972 have been amended in 2006. The Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 have been

amended in 2005. General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, 1960

have been amended in 2005

Fundamental and Supplementary Rules have been amended in 2005. The Central Civil Services and Civil Posts (Upper Age-Limit

for Direct Recruitment) Rules, 1998 have been added.

This one volume will serve as the Encyclopedia on the Service Matters and is a must for all the Central Government Officers, Administrative Training Centers, Libraries and to the officers who believe in keeping themselves abreast with all the relevant Rules on the Subject.

Lengthy commentaries are available on Disciplinary Procee dings and the like topics but the whole Service Rules and Regulations framed under the All India Services Act, 1951, which are applicable to All India Services, Indian Administrative Service. Indian Police Services, Indian Forest Services and all the Central Services are not available at one place for ready reference and this book serves the purpose.
