By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: Bombay; Popular Prakashan; 1970Description: 123pSubject(s): DDC classification:
  • 338.14 AGR
Summary: Agriculture has continued to receive top priority in the three national plans launched in our country after independence. The objective of spending more money on the schemes of agricultural development has been to augment the production of foodgrain commodities and industrial raw-material so as to enable ourselves to meet the fast expanding needs. The need for interdependence of one sector over another is now being increasingly recognised in India, and hence it was considered appropriate by the Advisory Committee to elicit views and thinking on the subject from eminent experts and specialists in this field.
