The second part discusses the recent progress and their accuracy and describes the methods of estimation and the story which these estimates tell, with a wealth of analytical details. Structures and their changes, over time are covered for distribution by industries, states, factor shares and size and by savings, investment and consumption. The roles of labour and capital inputs as explana tions of growth are studied and a short-term forecasting model is presen ted.
