Foreign policy is not made in vacuum. Domestic and International Environment is required to understand it. Even regional environment is also important. The world has witnessed rapid changes after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The equation of world politics has also changed dramatically. Global world order also tends to be dominated by USA. In globalized economic order nations have adopted the principle of market based economy. Significant impacts have been noticed on developing nations all over the globe. India is no exception to this. Changing equations of world politics have compelled India to take a serious look on its Foreign Policy. The present effort aims at the review and reappraisal of Indian Foreign Policy and provides theoretical understanding of the newly emerged world order. In due course, India's relations with superpowers, neighbours, regions and world's institutions have also been examined. Traditional concerns like security, energy- security and economy have been given ample space in this volume. New concerns in the form of global warming, international terrorism and environment have also been incorporated.
