The quest for excellence for an organization and an individual is never ending. We must seek practical solutions for day-to-day challenges. Now a day the business is not confined to national boundaries but has been extended beyond the national territory. The world has become a global village. In such a competitive business environment wherever an economy is passing through the phase of globalization and liberalization, national and international companies are required to meet the challenges in the global market. Emerging integration among regional blocks are emerging one after another, political boundaries are transcended by such collaboration and cooperation among nations, governments business houses and social and cultural organization.
The global changes are taking place at fast pace in all fields - manufacturing, service, agriculture, external sectors. These changes are affecting all the countries particularly to the UDCs. It is a very pertinent and debat able question that whether these changes are threat or motivation or both for UDCs
