The first deals with micro-economic theory in which the pricing of goods and factors of production are considered. The second part, on macro-economics, begins with the Keynesian theory of employment and income and summarises important developments that have supplemented and amended that theory. In the final section the theory of growth is discussed examining developments in the most recent branch of economic theory.
