Economic Liberalisation And Public Enterprises Public Enterprises (PEs) in India are undergoing a Strategic transformation. The changes relating to PEs concern their form, Legal framework, functional organization, autonomy and accountability, Efficiency and productivity, fitment into the broad Framework of economic liberalization, response to globalization, and Integration with the national and international Markets dealing with labour, Capital and technology. About the Author Professor R K Mishra is currently Professor and Dean, Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad. He is a Graduate of International Management Programme, SDA Bocconi, Milan, Italy. He has had Research stints at London Business School and Maison Des Sciences De L'Hommes, Paris. He has been the recipient of British Council, Commonwealth, HAS, IASIA, ICSSR, UGC and UN Fellowships. He has taught at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom and was a visiting Professor at Maison Des Sciences De L'Hommes, Paris. |
