| Summary, etc. | The book deals with Crime, Change and Development with special reference to tribal and rural settings in Rajasthan. In the first part of the book Crime situation has been studied in Bagar region comprising of Dungarpur, Banswara and Udaipur, the second part of the book consists of some papers on theoretical empirical aspects of change and development discourses. A sub alternate view has been incorporated to analyse change and development in the context of perspective regarding emerging villages, rural-urban nexus and beyond, tribal transformation, religious traditions and adaptations and co-operatives in tribal societies. Speaking holistically, the book gives an account of the trend of change in terms of Deviance Development and transformation. |
