| Summary, etc. | Slums are found almost in all countries of the World. In India, the problem of slums has too many implications. There fore, the problems needs serious attention and immediate solution.<br/>The Government has no clear cut policy with reference to slums and unfortunately attempts are made to solve the problem only in adhoc manner. As a result of it the slums in different cities continue to create a manance to the Urban Population. The present study focusing its attention on few problems relating to slums such as food, shelter, heaIth, educational and other concerned with the day to day family life of the employment people who live in slums. Apart from this the public policy on Environmental Improvement and slum clearance has also been examined in the present study. |
