That is, author wanted to develop a collection that would be clearly organized and fully coherent; that could be easily inte grated into an American government course and actually help in teaching the course; and that would hold the students' (and professor's) attention by pre senting a wide variety of viewpoints, writing styles, and approaches. Most important, author wanted to create a book that showed students just why author - and all other professors of American government-find this subject so meaningful and enjoyable. |
