We have made a commitment to get to the front rank of the comity of nations before the 21st century, and industrial develop ment is one of the means of doing so. We have to plan our industrial relations system so that development takes place in the right direction.<br/><br/>This important book has emerged out of proceedings of a U.G.C. National Seminar on 'Planning for Industrial Relations in the 21st century organised by the Department of Commerce and Business Management, Panjab University, Chandigarh on March 20 and 21, 1987.
