| Summary, etc. | The other notable feature of the book is that it is blessed with two judicial introductions; a short one from Mr. Justice Hidayatuallah and a fairly elaborate one by lamented Mr. Justice Subba Rao. The additional foreward by me has become necessary because of historical accidents. The second edition, contemp lated in 1975, is published only now, posthumously after the sad demise of the author which deprived me of the privilege of even meeting him. Mr. Vedpal, Prop. VEDPAL LAW HOUSE INDORE the Distributors waited for well over a year, patiently insisting that I write this intro duction. The circumstances of this publication are thus unusual; so is a third introduction. But I feel that the book deserves wide audience and although it does not cover post-Kesvananda developments at all, its provocative and fresh (insights will continue to make it deeply relevant to our constitutional tasks at present as well. |
