This study was to examine the Adnistrative ATangements for Planning and impiemenation of Rural Development programs to bring out the gaps in the Epieraentation process and to suggest suitabie changes in the administrative set up to revitalising it.
Though the IRDP was considered as amost important programnme, there were some drawbacks and constraints in its implementation process. The present study taken up in Vikarabad Block of Rangaa Reddy District in Andhra Pradesh established that the gaps in the administrative arrangements have lhampered the achieve ments of results expected of the Deogrames.
