Use of force under international law - New Delhi Harnam Pub. 1984 - 273p.

This book deals with the law relating to the use of force by states in their international relations. This legal study is devoted to both the normative as well as the behavioural analysis of the uses of force by states. Attempt is made to judge the legality of the state actions in certain important situations, starting from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings to some latest situations, e.g., the Falkland Islands war, the Korean Airliner incident and the Grenada situation. How ever, more emphasis has been laid on the normative analysis and in answering the questions about the legal, non-illegal and illegal character of the use of force under international law.
