About Author : Ehsanul Haq is a Professor at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He did his M.A. with distinction from Aligarh, and M.Phil./Ph.D. from JNU, New Delhi. He has been teaching at the post-graduate level at the Cetnre for more than 25 years and has produced a large number of M Phil/Ph.D. students. Sudhir Kumar Singh is currently project fellow, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata and visiting facutly, University of Delhi. His research interests include: terrorism, sustainable development, human rights, ethnicity, indigenous peoples rights, sectarian violence, women rights in Islamic world and drug-trafficking. He is currently working on diverse issues related to Pakistan, Afghanishat and Central Asia.
