520 | _aThe Tribal Research and Training Institute is basically devoted to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research studies on various aspects of tribal life and issues related to their development. Thus far the institute has published 173 research reports and six books These publications have certainly helped research scholars and administrators working in the field of tribal development. In the year 1988 TR & TI published an edited volume entitled " A review of Tribal research studies which consisted of summaries of selected research studies & evaluation reports by the institute over a span of 25 years. It was published in two sections namely English & Marathi. It has been nearly six years since it was published To carry on this tradition it was felt that a similar kind of volume be published. Hence the present edited volume entitled An overview of Tribal Research studies * is being published. This volume not only contains condensed summaries of selected evaluation research reports by TR & TI since 1988 but also reviews of fellowship reports of research scholars who get fellowship from this institute. Besides this, academicians, research scholars & social workers have also contributed research papers on various issues of tribal life. | ||
