It is an exhaustive discussion of the fiscal policy debates, the currency controversies, the economics of depression, the issues in foreign trade and balance of payments, the economics of war, and ideas on planning and development. There are two separate chapters Gandhian economics and on the Indian exercises in pure economic theory.
