520			_aAs I mentioned in my first book, rather at the very outset that I had never planned to present the story of my life in the shape of a book. It just happened as a result of the appreciation, admiration, and encouragement I received from my well- wishers. The question of writing a second book was thus not even a far-fetched idea. However, it happened again when my readers showed interest in my story that motivated me to continue with my endeavour. So the present work is nothing but the outcome of the motivation I got from my readers. As the reader walks along the storyline woven into a narrative that follows in the next pages, she would get to know more about the individual, and the reason as to how he enjoyed every moment, not only of being in the public service but also of life. And as proclaimed in his first book, why he considers himself to be falling in the fourth category of officers who are happy in every situation, with no cribbing, no regrets ( Jo Mil Gaya Usi Ko Muqaddar Samajh Liya). This may be the outcome of the belief system I acquired from the world around, that has been my guiding force and has all along propelled me to follow, embrace, and practice the pearls of wisdom—the universal truths I have collected and preserved over the years. An unequivocal fact I must place before my readers: I don’t write for name, fame, or money. It is with the sole objective of sharing my story with the rest of the world. My earning is the love and affection I receive from my readers, in abundance, from those who showed interest in my story. Please keep doing that nonstop; and yes, without an iota of mercy.
