In this background the present book attempts to give the reader a comprehensive but nutshell idea about the genesis of human rights, repercussions and recourses of human rights violation, mechanisms and means of enforcement of human rights. The idea is to enrich the knowledge of the reader with the basic knowledge on human rights including its various dimensions. About Author : Dr. Sreenivasulu N.S.is an Associate Professor of Law and Chairperson/Head, School of Business Laws in The National University of Juridical Sciences, (NUJS) Kolkata, India. Before joining NUJS he was working as a Faculty of Law at the National Law School of India University, (NLSIU) Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Earlier he served in the Post-Graduate Department of Law, University of Mysore, Mysore, Karnataka,India as faculty of Law. He is graduated in commerce (B.Com.) from S.D.G.S. College, Hindupur, (Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Andhra Pradesh) India in 1998.
