In this book the authoress has made a modest attempt to present the basic facts about the state politics in a comprehensive and consolidated form. The authoress does not claim any originality. Her main effort has been to collect the vast material lying scattered in various books and journals and to present the same in a systematic manner, which may be easily understood by the students.
