Economic development in the developing countries seems to be wrapped up in pessimism. Inspite of three decades of sustained efforts against world-wide poverty, the problem keeps on multi plying. The gap between the developed and developing countries is continuously widening. Hope of economic boom and pros perity is waning and a concern for the international well-being is making serious headway.
